En esta lección, nos centraremos en el uso del Present Simple (Presente Simple) en inglés. El Present Simple es uno de los tiempos verbales más importantes y básicos en el idioma. Se utiliza para hablar sobre acciones habituales, verdades universales, rutinas diarias, estados permanentes, y mucho más. Lección: Ejercicios de Present Simple en inglés

El Present Simple se forma utilizando el infinitivo del verbo sin “to” en tercera persona del singular (he, she, it), se agrega “s” o “es”. En el caso de los pronombres I, you, we, they, se utiliza el infinitivo sin cambios.

El Present Simple se utiliza para hablar de:

• Hábitos y rutinas: “I always have breakfast at 7 am.”
• Acciones repetitivas: “She plays tennis every Sunday.”
• Hechos generales o verdades universales: “The sun rises in the east.”
• Programas y horarios: “The train leaves at 9 pm.”
• Opiniones y sentimientos: “I love chocolate ice cream.”

Recuerda que generalmente agregamos “s” o “es” en la tercera persona del singular (he, she, it) y no agregamos nada en los pronombres I, you, we, they.
